The recruitment industry has a poor reputation. Recruitment has few barriers to entry. Everyone thinks they can do it.

Low barriers aren’t an entirely bad thing. It means, if you have the right skills and attitude, you can come from any environment and become a success in recruitment.

We're busting common myths about the recruitment industry.

MYTH #1

Recruitment is just a sales job, lacking morals and integrity.

This is simply not true. The modern recruitment environment is about getting the best outcomes for all, by partnering with candidates and clients. We show you how to do that.

MYTH #2

Millennials and Gen-Z are difficult to deal with.

There’s no doubt that the younger generations bring a different perspective to work. Harnessed well, their fresh (and sometimes disruptive) approach can help your business perform better than before. They are our future leaders, so we all need to learn how to work together.

MYTH #3

Recruitment culture has to be based on Wolf of Wall Street, focussed purely on money.

Sure, profitability is a driver for all businesses, but it's just one outcome of having great relationships and a partnership approach.

MYTH #4

External trainers don’t really care about our bottom-line.

Incorrect. The right training partner focuses on outcomes that are good for everyone, including:

Technology is just being used for the sake of it.
